Each item in Minecraft has a unique ID assigned to it, known as an item ID, this can be used in commands to spawn the item into the game. The item ID for slowness potion (1:30) in Minecraft is shown below:
When Minecraft updated to version 1.13, a changed dubbed "The Flattening" was introduced. In "The Flattening", numerical IDs and item data was removed, and some item IDs were changed to make them more logical - Slowness Potion (1:30) was one of the many items that had their IDs changed.
For this reason, if you're playing on a Minecraft version below 1.13 (1.12, 1.8, 1.7), you should use what we've named a legacy ID for this item. The legacy ID for slowness potion (1:30) is:
Slowness Potion (1:30) has a data value of 8202. You will need to add this to commands, along with its legacy item ID (below), to spawn it.
Items from earlier versions of Minecraft were assigned a numerical ID - a unique number to represent it.
This item also has a data value assigned to it. The data value is 8202 - you need to add this to the item ID (with a colon before) in order to spawn slowness potion (1:30).
The numerical ID for Slowness Potion (1:30) is:
The Slowness Potion (1:30) item can be spawned in Minecraft with the below command. Cheats must be enabled before this will work.
When this potion is consumed (via holding right click), the slowness will be applied for 1 minute and 30 seconds. The slowness potion effect is the exact opposite of the swiftness potion effect, and reduces the speed at which you can walk and run.
